No More Waiting

There is no longer a need to wait anxiously because the new iPhone has finally come out. Now the question is whether to get the 8 gig one or the sixteen gig one? Apple has outdone them and has reduced the price in half, allowing a much wider margin of the public to purchase this popular phone. However, they have messed up on a few aspect of the phone. There is only a 2 mega pixel camera, no vide recording, and this model is actually thicker than the last one. Oh well…

Close to Home

In this day and age one would think that individuals travel a lot and do not stay close to their homes for long. However, a secret study conducted recently by scientist proves the exact opposite. It is unknown where the research was conducted, but the locations of 100,000 people outside the United States were tracked through trackers on their cell phones. It turns out that two thirds of those individuals do not go any farther than twenty miles from their home in half a year’s time.

Gadget lovers are beginning to drool even before they get the chance to hold the new iPhone in their hands. This is because the rumors and news of the new improved Apple phone have been getting better and better and it just sounds to good to be true. The latest that I’ve heard regarding the phone is that it can be bought with a compatible Apple earpiece that can charge together with the iPhone in the same dock. Even better than that, there will be two bars on the iPhone screen that will show the battery life of both the phone and the earpiece. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Getting Closer

Since it is the first of June, we are getting closer and closer to the release of the new iPhone. Many gadgets and Apple fans all over the world are waiting eagerly for the debut of the most popular cell phone in the world. The first version was enough to get people of all ages all hyped up, and now the second version will be even better and more exciting. Apple learns from their mistakes, and likes to make us wait from version to version so that we don’t get all of the unbelievable features at once. They like to leave us thirsty for more, and we sure are thirsty, at least I am. The problem is, as terrific as the new iPhone may be, I know that the next one will be even better.

The most desired phone and gadget out there today is the iPhone. It is no secret that Apple has succeeded in producing some of the most popular products of all times. Although they may not be the best, they are still the most popular and have become the generic term for that item. That is what happened to the iPod. All MP3 players were referred to as iPods. The iPhone has been the next huge step that Apple has taken since the iPhone, and is probably going to end up being more successful than the iPod ever was.

This is because it is first and foremost a cell phone, which everybody these days has and needs. It is also just as much an amazing MP3 player, a camera, an Internet device, and soon to be GPS as well. That is why one is going to want to make sure that it stays protected at all times. Although it really is hard to scratch, the InvisibleSHIELD will make sure that even barely visible scratches will not make their way to your precious iPhone. This amazing shield is available at zagg.com, along with other iphone cases.

Robo Army

It’s kind of funny to look back at old “futuristic” movies and TV shows and see how the predictions of the future actually came true. From the shoe that was used as a phone, predicting the cell phone, to TV phones that became video calls and conferencing, they weren’t so far off. The same can be said about more recent films such as Robo Cop, where there was a robot that was a police officer.

This is close to being a reality as well, since robotic suits that enhance one’s human strengths are being developed, and may be worn by soldiers in the near future. What may seem strange to us now, will most probably be part of our reality in a decade or so.

Better than Before

The Blackberry has been one of the most popular smart phones for a while now, if not the most popular. However, since the iPhone was introduced, it has failed to compete on a number of levels with this sleek looking touch screen cell phone. That is about to change since Blackberry is about to introduce a new model, the first in over a year. The Bold will be a high-end blackberry model that will show how the company is trying to better their devices for work purposes and for play. One of the great things about the Blackberry is that it has a full keyboard with one letter per key. That feature remains, but better and newer features are added to the Bold as well. Some of these features include a screen with high resolution (although it is smaller than the iPhone’s screen which is now considered its competitor, more internal memory, a glossy look, and more.

No More iPhones

The popular smart phone, the Apple iPhone has become so popular that it is no longer available on online UK stores and online US stores because they have been sold out. There may be some left through AT&T and some retail Apple stores. There is no need to worry though because an even faster iPhone is coming out in June.

GPS receivers are extremely accurate due to their parallel multi-channel design. Some are quick to lock onto satellites when first turned on and maintain strong locks even in dense foliage or urban settings with tall buildings. However, it is a fact that atmospheric factors and other sources of errors can affect the accuracy of GPS receivers.

Those with Wide Area Augmentation Systems (WAAS) are accurate to less than three (3) meters on the average. This is especially advantageous since no additional equipment or fees are required to have this specific feature. A better accuracy rate can be had by users with Differential GPS (DGPS), which is able to correct signals to within an average of three (3) to five (5) meters. Users will need to have a differential beacon receiver and beacon antenna in addition to the GPS to get the corrected signal.

Remote controls should simplify our lives with their presence as they enable the operation of devices even at a distance. Each remote-controlled appliance would, of course, have its own remote control. The reality of everyday living, even at the simplest households is the number of appliances, whose control has to be mastered individually.

Too many can be quite confusing especially since it is seldom that appliances are meant to work cohesively together under one control. At best, the attempt to provide a single control comes with a readily-packaged set of appliances. Even such attempts fail miserably as remote controls become more complicated to operate because of the sheer volume of function it has to perform. In the end, consumers find it easier to go back to one remote control per unit and get tangled just the same with the demands of the new technology.
