Internet Safety
The Internet is not a safe place, and therefore one needs to be extra cautious when allowing one’s children to surf the net alone. This is not only a matter of blocking off adult sites, but a matter of knowing who your kids are talking with, and maybe even meeting with as a result of Internet interaction, and what people are sending them. Sex offenders take advantage of the fact that the Internet allows them to reach innocent children simply by clicking on their names in certain chat rooms. There are also many hackers that can send inappropriate materials to your kids and send them threatening messages.
