Since Google tends to take over every industry in the Internet world that seems to be doing well, and industries that are not on the Internet such as their cellular operating system, it shouldn’t at all be surprising that Google is going to be competing with FaceBook. The successful company has had their eyes on the most popular social networking site for quite some time now, and now they are going to take action. A new program called Friend Connect will start shortly.
This program will be tried out on various websites and once it receives positive feedback it will be available for any site that is interested in it. The program basically turns any site into a social networking site like FaceBook, by adding a feature that allows users of that site to chat with each other. Additionally, there will be a page of features from which members of the program will be able to download applications and add them to their site
